Year-End Giving and Winter Break

The University of North Texas will be closed for winter break at noon on December 23, 2025 through January 2, 2026.

Donors may make gifts over UNT's winter break closure. Receipts for gifts received during the closure will be processed after the university reopens.

Year-end guidelines to be receipted as 2025 gifts:

• Cash gifts, including currency and checks, must be postmarked on or before December 31.
• Credit card gifts must be charged on or before December 31 to be completed for the 2025 tax year. If you are mailing a credit card donation, it must arrive by December 22 to be processed and receipted for 2025. For the fastest option, we recommend giving online.
• Electronic transfer/wire/securities must be received in the university’s (or UNT Foundation’s, as appropriate) bank account by 11:59 p.m. CST on December 31.
