Year-End Giving and Winter Break

The University of North Texas will be closed for winter break December 23, 2024 through January 1, 2025. However, you can still make a gift to UNT and Advancement Services will be available to assist with questions during the closure.

Receipts for gifts received during the winter break closure will be processed after UNT reopens on January 2, 2025.

Year-end guidelines to be receipted as 2024 gifts:

• Cash gifts, including currency and checks, must be postmarked on or before December 31.
• Credit card gifts must be charged on or before December 31 to be a completed transaction. For mailed credit card donations, please allow in-house processing time to ensure your gift is receipted for 2024. For faster processing, we recommend donating by credit card online.
• Electronic transfer/wire/securities must be received in the university’s (or UNT Foundation’s, as appropriate) bank account by 11:59 p.m. CST on December 31.
