Jaclyn Williamson

The Jaclyn Williamson
Design Scholarship Endowment

This endowment, created by Sarah and Kenneth Williamson, honors the beautiful life of the late Jaclyn Williamson, a UNT College of Visual Arts and Design alumna who graduated with a B.F.A. in Communication Design.

Jaclyn Williamson had a successful design career starting as an intern at Caliber Creative, moving through Fossil HQ and Squires & Company, before working in-house for nearly 8 years at OneSource Virtual as Creative & Brand Manager. Known amongst her co-workers and peers as “the rag queen,” she had a passion for setting typography, a stellar eye for the perfect color palette, and was a true lover of print and all things paper.

Endearingly sincere, kind-hearted, and more witty than she knew, Jaclyn had a natural ability to connect with people, making countless genuine, deep friendships that lasted a lifetime. Her knack for a well-timed joke or embarrassing story made her a joy to be around professionally and personally, and her consideration and care for others knew no bounds.

Your gift will help celebrate Jaclyn’s life and memory, and to magnify the scholarship opportunities in perpetuity to provide annual support for Communication Design students. This legacy will allow Jaclyn to continue taking new designers under her wing as they grow and strengthen their skills.

Thank you for your generosity.
