UNT commencement ceremony

CLASS Students Helping Students

Celebrate your graduation by helping future students succeed through your Senior CLASS initiative: Students Helping Students. Every year, current students show their UNT spirit by supporting scholarships and programs that directly impact fellow College of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences students through the Students Helping Students initiative.

Before you walk across the stage to commemorate your college degree, establish your UNT legacy with a gift as small as $20.24 — a number that honors your graduation year. Your contribution will help share the wealth of UNT resources and experiences you’ve enjoyed with students following in your footsteps. Donors will receive a special philanthropy graduation cord and recognition at commencement.

To receive a CLASS philanthropy cord, a minimum donation of your graduating school year ($20.24), must be made. CLASS students graduating in the spring of 2024 are currently eligible to purchase a philanthropy cord.

Contributing is easy. Simply:

  1. Make your gift using the form on this page.
  2. Beginning Monday, April 29, 2024, bring a copy of your confirmation email to the Dean’s Suite front desk in GAB 210 to receive your graduation cord.
  3. Wear your cord to commencement and stand tall with CLASS pride.
